# Delete a meal

> Deletes a meal and its photos.

`DELETE /meals/:id`

Needs the **Read and write** permission. Deleting can't be undone: the meal goes with its whole history, and its photos are removed.

## Path parameters

## Response

`204` with no body, or `404` with `meal_not_found` when it doesn't exist or isn't yours.
