This policy applies to consumer health data, as defined by Washington’s My Health My Data Act, Nevada Senate Bill 370 and similar US state laws, that Splot collects about residents of those states. It adds to our Privacy Policy. Splot is operated by Konrad Dębiec Cloud&ML Services, Szlak 77/222, 31-153 Kraków, Poland.
Consumer health data we collect
- Meals you eat or plan: foods, amounts, times, notes, calculated nutrition and photos.
- Your own foods and recipes.
- Your nutrition targets, weight, height, age, sex and activity level.
- Which AI assistant created or changed a record.
Why we collect and use it
We use this data only to provide the Splot features you ask for:
- storing and showing your journal;
- calculating nutrition against your targets;
- carrying out requests from AI assistants and API keys you connect;
- keeping your account secure.
We collect it only with your consent, which we ask for when you create your account. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Where we get it
From you, when you use the app or website, and from an AI assistant or API key you connect, when it acts on your request.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that host and process data for us under contract: Supabase (database and photo storage) and Vercel (backend hosting).
- An AI assistant you choose to connect, such as ChatGPT (OpenAI). We share with it only after you give separate consent on the connection screen, and only while it stays connected.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
We have no affiliates that receive consumer health data.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- confirm whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, and access it, including a list of the third parties and affiliates we shared it with and how to contact them;
- withdraw your consent;
- have your consumer health data deleted. You can do this yourself by deleting your account at app.splot.health/account.
To use these rights, email privacy@splot.health from the address on your account. We respond within 45 days, and may extend this by another 45 days when reasonably necessary; we will tell you if we do. If we deny your request, reply with “Appeal” in the subject line. We will answer your appeal within 45 days. If you disagree with the outcome, you can contact the Washington State Attorney General at atg.wa.gov or the Nevada Attorney General.
