Does Splot estimate calories from a photo?

iPhone and Android. Your journal is kept in your account, so it is the same on every device and in every connected assistant.

The journal is in the iPhone and Android apps. On a computer, use a connected assistant on its website, or the Splot API.

Splot needs an internet connection to save. Without one it says No internet connection, and Retry saves the change once you’re back online.

Yes. In Daily targets, set the range to Only this day, or Until a date… for a stretch of days.

Does Splot save my diet, allergies or preferences?

Section titled “Does Splot save my diet, allergies or preferences?”

No. Splot keeps meals, your foods and recipes, your targets and your body details. Tell your assistant about your diet and allergies in the conversation.

Common foods come from national food composition tables, packaged products from the Splot database and Open Food Facts, and your own foods from you.

Yes, whenever you like. Your journal is yours: create a read-only key in You → Account → API Keys, and the Splot API gives you every meal, food and recipe you saved, as JSON. A connected assistant can read your journal too.
