What your assistant receives, how to disconnect it, and what happens to what it already has.

A connected assistant reads your journal only through Splot’s tools, when a conversation needs it: the meals, foods, photos and targets it asks for, and your account’s name and email if you ask which account is connected. Splot doesn’t send your journal anywhere on its own.

What your assistant receives is then kept under its own terms and settings, such as ChatGPT’s or Claude’s chat history and memory. Splot never sells your journal or uses it for ads.

Disconnect in either place, and the assistant loses access to your journal:

  • In the Splot app, open Account, choose the assistant and choose Disconnect.
  • In your assistant, remove the Splot connector or app from its settings.

Disconnecting stops new access. Conversations you already had stay with your assistant; delete them there if you want them gone.

Deleting your Splot account removes your journal and disconnects every assistant. What an assistant already received stays under its own terms.
